Digital storytelling with iMovie

explanation of digital storytelling

Understanding Digital Storytelling

By combining audiovisual elements you can create emotionally engaging media.

As a bonus, a lot of people find digital media much more accessible as well as it having the ability to reach broader audiences!

difference between informative video vs digital stories

Videos vs. Digital Stories

Digital stories are personal narratives made to evoke emotion and be engaging. They combine still & moving imagery, text, and audio. They are a mixed media project and use a lot of creativity.

In comparison, videos are simply intended to be moving images that may or may not include sound. Videos tend to be more informative while digital storytelling is meant to be emotional.
