Turnitin can be used to generate similarity reports. It is built into WU's instance of Canvas.
Turnitin is only available for assignments with online submissions. When you create an assignment, select "Online" from the "Submission Type" dropdown menu.
When you select "Online" as the submission type, you must select one or more online entry options. Checking any of these boxes will trigger the appearance of the "Plagiarism Review" option. At this point you can select Turnitin from the dropdown menu.
When you choose "Turnitin," you are shown a settings menu. Choose your preferences. When you are finished creating or editing your assignment, be sure to click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page!
