About Doreen

Doreen Simonsen has been the Humanities & Fine Arts Librarian at Willamette University since 2001, and in 2015 she became the library's Rare Books Librarian, too.  She developed and co-taught courses, Digital Humanities Workshop: Voyages of Discovery in the Vault and Research in the Information Age.  In her free time she loves visiting museums, going to bookstores, and watching Scandinavian films and television series.

About John

John Repplinger has served as the Science Librarian at Willamette University since 2002 where he supports the following departments, as well as the other areas of expertise. In his free time, John spends time with his three children and wife, creates original pastel drawings and acrylic paintings, gardens, hikes, and photographs scenic landscapes. He is currently writing his first young adult novel.
