All first year students, including transfer students, are paired up with a librarian who can help with research.
Charity Braceros-Simon is the personal librarian for all transfer students. She is the Access Services Librarian and her office is at the circulation desk in the Mark O. Hatfield Library. She is in charge of the circulation desk where she enjoys interacting with patrons and works with ~25 student employees. She is also very involved in resource sharing work with the Orbis Cascade Alliance (aka Summit). Outside of work, she enjoys all sorts of crafty things such as embroidery, macrame and sewing. She also loves to cook and bake and collect houseplants.
