Westphall, S. Doing the Most With the Least, Acrylic on Canvas, 2021.
About Me
My name is Shaleigh Westphall (pronounced shə-ˈLĀ, sounds like "filet"). I received my BFA in illustration from PNCA. After a few years of odd jobs such as jewelry designer, distiller, and English teacher abroad, I realized I wanted to pursue a Master's in Library Science. I worked in a variety of libraries in the Portland metro area before coming to PNCA.
I am passionate about connecting people to information and helping facilitate research a-ha moments. My art practice encompasses storytelling through drawing, painting, and printmaking. My areas of interest include pop culture, gothic fiction, film, comedy, comics, art history, and medical history. Feel free to tell me what you are passionate about right now or what you want to know more about because I want to know too!
