Go to the Hatfield Library's website at: library.willamette.edu. You will see the following: 
Click on the pull down menu in the box that reads "Everything" and choose "WU Libraries." Then type in the name of the book (or part of the name) in the box that reads "Enter search terms" and hit return (see below):
You may be prompted to login at this point. Use your Willamette username and password. You should see the following:
Click on the title or the "Online access" link and you will see:
Click on "view online." You might be prompted to Login to Proquest Ebook Central--again, use your Willamette username and password. You should see:
At this point you can choose "Read Online" or "Download Book." To download the book, you will need to download Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). If you choose to download the book you will be asked "What device are you using?" and given some options to choose from. If you don't already have ADE on your device, Ebook Central will direct you to a free download of ADE.
If you don't want to download the book, you can always just choose the "Read Online" option. You can still access the table of contents from here, choose the chapter you're interested in reading, etc.
This ebook is fully searchable by clicking on the magnifying glass icon.
