"The American Verse Project is a collaborative project between the University of Michigan Humanities Text Initiative (HTI) and the University of Michigan Press. The project is assembling an electronic archive of volumes of American poetry prior to 1920."

This site contains selected poems from contemporary poets. Includes sound files of the poets reading their poems. Sponsored by the University of North Carolina Press and the North Carolina Arts Council.

The Poetry Foundation is a United States literary society that seeks to promote poetry and lyricism in the wider culture.
