How to Find Videos in the Library Catalog

1. Use the Advanced Search option in the Library Catalog.

2. Enter Title or Subject keywords.

3. Select "DVD video" or "eVideo" from the Resource Type menu.

Types of Videos

You can find both DVDs and Streaming Videos in the collections of the Mark O. Hatfield and PNCA Libraries.  Both types of videos can be found by searching the library catalog and following the directions on this page.  The films in the library's streaming video databases also appear in the library catalog as eVideos.

You can also search for DVDs by the types of film you are looking for, such as Animation or Westerns.  Links to these searches are on the DVDs page.

Finally, on the Streaming Videos page you can search the video databases that the library subscribes to.  There you'll find more information about the types of films that these databases contain.  On this page you can also find links to several Free Streaming Video Sites, such as the Moving Image Research Center from the Library of Congress and the American Indian Film Gallery.
