ANTH 351: Indigenous Peoples, Human Rights and the Environment: Images

Explanation of a Visual Resource

Including visual resources in your project or paper will add richness and texture to your final product.  Examples of visual resources include maps, photographs, graphs, charts, drawings, cartoons, tribal symbols, artifacts, etc.

Finding Images--Books

Many of the books in our collection will have good quality images in them including art reproductions, drawings, maps and photos.  To find books with images, just search our catalog for books on your topic and then look at the full record of the titles you're interested in--look for the "Format" field and then look for words like "illustrations" or "maps."
