Printing (WU Print)

WUPrint

All Willamette users on the campus network can use WUPrint on their personal machines to send a print job to a virtual print queue on Willamette's server. You can then log into the WUPrint tool to release your job from the queue and send it to an available printer in the library or another computer lab. Click here for more information.

Computer Lab Printers

Black and white printing is available to all WU community members, free of cost, in most of the campus computer labs. Click here for a full list of lab locations.

Color Printing

Students can print in color and high quality black & white at the Print Services, located in Lee House, for a small fee. All public printers are draft-quality black & white only.

Personal Printers in Residence Halls

Students may also bring their own printers if they wish. For installation and configuration, you should follow the instructions that came with your printer. If you need technical assistance, you should call the printer's manufacturer (tech support phone numbers are usually provided with the documentation that came with your printer).

Printing Etiquette

Willamette University supports sustainability. Printers are a shared resource on this campus, and it is very important that each user does his or her part to be courteous to fellow users and to conserve paper and toner. 

Photocopy Machines

Photocopy machines are available for use on the first floor of the library by the main stairs, and the second floor of the library. It costs ten cents per page.  You can also use money from your ID card to pay for photocopies.

Public Computers

Two computers are available for visitors and the general public. They are limited to one hour of use. They are located to the right of the library's entrance. These are designed for internet access only and do not save to USB drives.

Printing costs ten cents per page.

Willamette Wireless

Willamette University provides wireless service for the public in certain areas of campus. In the library, the designated guest wireless area is on the first floor near the reference desk.

Off-Campus Access

Most of Willamette's databases and digital periodicals to are accessible while off-campus, but only to users affiliated with Willamette.

After selecting a database, you will be prompted for a username and password.
