An Associated Scholar is an individual who is an active scholar or researcher or in the process of studying for an advanced degree and is associated with Willamette University through having a spouse/partner affiliated with the University as faculty member, sabbatical replacement, or Administrative staff member (limited to librarian, director, associate director and vice-president). They may also be sabbatical replacements who have completed their WU contracts, are living in the Salem area and require continuing IT and Library support for their own research for an interim period of not more than 6 months. A visiting scholar, working with a Willamette faculty member or department, and in need of library privileges, may also qualify.
Visiting scholars who are in some way affiliated with Willamette University may request special library privileges.
