ARTS 116: Introduction to Drawing: Paper Collections

PAPER COLLECTIONS

Paper based collections are a rich resource for images of Willamette's buildings. Included in various collections are illustrations, photographs, proposed designs, blueprints, etc. Below is a list of collections contain such resources.

THE WALLULAH

The Wallulah is online and keyword searchable between 1903 - 2006. Paper copies of yearbook are located in the Archives and in the Reference Section under "W" on the first floor of the Library.

NOTE: The Archives does not have a full run of Wallulahs. A few years are missing.

ADMINISTRATIVE FILES

Administrative Files include office files generated by various departments on campus. For example, the Office of the President's Records often include visual representations of WU's campus buildings, including schematic drawings, blueprints, etc.

The majority of these materials are not digitized. Please see Archives Staff for assistance working with these files.

WILLAMETTE SCENE

The Willamette Scene (April 1967 - Spring 2014) is an alumni publication that often includes images of WU's built environment.

THE COLLEGIAN

For over 130 years Willamette students have experienced and reported on local (specifically WU campus!), regional, and national events in the pages of The Collegian. This resource is keyword searchable from 1875 to present. Photographs often accompany articles!
