Browsing for Books

You can browse the shelves of the Hatfield Library from the comfort of your home for specific ranges of Library of Congress Call Numbers.  This is also a great way to survey what is available in print or gather ideas.  You can identify subject headings from the catalog's citations that catch your attention, and then search for those phrases in a journal article databases.  This may also introduce you to authors, that you may want to look for in other databases.

From any citation within the Hatfield Library's online catalog, you can also click on a subject heading, and modify the results using options in the left hand column.  Some of the key filtering options are "E-Books" and "Government Documents".
