The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) helps new populations maximize their potential in the United States by linking them to critical resources that assist them in becoming integrated members of American society.

UNHCR was created in 1950, to help millions of Europeans who had fled or lost their homes during WWII. Today, over 66 years later, the organization continues its work, "protecting and assisting refugees around the world."
